Women from the Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo and surrounding areas are encouraged to visit and join our group to network with other business women, and to grow their business.

Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at Applebee’s in Fargo. (2350 45th St S, Fargo, ND 58104)

The meetings begin promptly at 11:30 am and end at 1:00pm. Our goal is to be time effective which means we follow a set agenda consisting of the following but not limited to the following:

11:30 am Welcome Guests & Introduce Subs/Guests/New Members

11:35 am – Business Card Box Pass
A box of business cards is passed around during the meeting so each member has an adequate supply to provide to her contacts when she leaves the meeting.

11:40 am – 60 Second Commercials
During the 60 second commercial, each member has a chance to ask for a SPECIFIC referral for her business.

11:55 am – Ten Minute Presentation
At each meeting, a member is given the opportunity to provide a detailed overview of her business via the 10 minute presentation.This information is a vital part of the referral process. The member will also be featured on our website blog.

12:10 pm – Education
The education piece is the time to take away something from the meeting that will help each individual develop personally or professionally.

12:30 pm Referrals & Testimonials
A quality referral consists of a name, contact information and the specifics of the need. These referrals are not intended to be cold calls. Provide names of individuals whom you have spoken with and who have expressed an interest in having more information on a particular business or service. The referral form needs to be completed with enough information for the member to make a quality contact and follow-up.

Testimonials are welcomed to offer feedback on quality referrals or services provided. Each member is required to give either a referral and/or a testimonial at each meeting. And because the referral process is the essence of our meetings, our by-laws require a strict attendance policy. If for some reason a member cannot attend, she is encourage to send a substitute.

A prospective member may attend up to two meetings as a visitor.

Once you’ve visited, and if you are interested in joining WiN as a active member, you can receive a welcoming packet and application from one of the current officers. Once you become a member, your business category is secure for the duration  of your membership.
Your membership also includes a professional business head shot and are featured as a member on our website.
